When applying for a visa to Pakistan you will have to submit some required documents as part of the Pakistan visa application process. 1. Tourist Visa for Pakistan

A Pakistan Tourist Visa allows the citizens of foreign nationals to visit Pakistan for tourism purposes. You can apply for two types of tourist visas online:

• First Time Tourist Visa (New): You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.

Visa Duration and Validity

• Single Entry for short duration less than 3 months (First Time entry).
• Duration up to and greater than 6 months (Extension).
• Citizens from these countries may be eligible for a Double Entry Tourist Visa.
• A Tourist Visa can be extended for up to 6 months or more, subject to approval.
• US nationals could avail Tourist 5 years multiple entry visas with a maximum of 3 months’ stay.

2. Tourist Visa on Arrival for Pakistan

You can now apply for a Tourist Visa On Arrival if you are a citizen of these countries.

Please submit your intent to travel at least 48-72 hours before your planned trip to Pakistan to receive an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) – (Please Note: You can state your intent by submitting online visa application through Pakistan Online Visa System – Click on the Apply Now Button to do so). 3. Family Visit Visa on Arrival for Pakistan

16. Pilgrim Tourism Visa for Pakistan

Applicants identifying themselves as Pilgrim Tourists can apply for an online visa through Pakistan Online Visa System for religious tourism. This provision allows the applicants to visit places in Pakistan that have religious importance to them.

NOTE: Under Pilgrim Tourism and Tourist Visa categories, nationals of 175 Countries are eligible to apply – Under Pilgrim Tourist Category, Indian Nationals bearing legal permanent residence in a third country are also eligible to apply – Visa issued under both categories allow the applicant to travel all over Pakistan for tourism purposes as per the rules and regulations.

You can apply for First Time (New) Single Entry Visa in the following subcategories:

• Sikhs – Foreign National of Indian Origin
• Sikhs – He/She Must have a valid proof of Legal and Permanent Residence in a Third country other than India
• Sikhs – Spouses and Children of applicants of Subcategory b

After submission of the application, the applicants will be required to visit the nearest/selected Pakistani Mission for verification of documents. The applicant will be intimated regarding the need of visit via email on his email account provided by him in the application – The Applicant will be required to visit the Pakistan Mission within 2 Days at MAX(Please Make Sure that the provided email account is valid and functioning- Regularly check your email account for updates)

Visa Eligibility Requirements

• Category “a – Foreign National of Indian Origin “:
• Nationals of 175 Eligible Countries for E-Visa residing in the same countries
• Category “b – Sikhs – He/She Must have a valid proof of Legal and Permanent “:
• Must have a valid proof of legal and permanent residence in a third country
• Category “c – Sikhs – Spouses and Children of applicants of Subcategory b”:
• In the case of Spouse: The Husband/Wife OR In case of Children: Father/Mother of the applicants must have a valid proof of legal and permanent residence in a third country other than India

• Photograph
• Invitation letter/Hotel Reservation
• Proof of legal residence of third-country (Under category “b”)
• Applicable for Category “c”:
• In case the applicant is Spouse: Valid proof of legal and permanent residence in a third country other than India of Husband/Wife
• In case the applicant is a Child: Valid proof of legal and permanent residence in a third country other than India of Father/Mother

17. Other Visa (Sports, Conferences, Seminars, Cultural Events, etc.) for Pakistan

Foreign citizens who wish to participate in sports, conferences, seminars, and various cultural events taking place in Pakistan can apply for this visa.

You can apply for two types of visas online :

• First Time (New): You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.
• Extension: You can apply for a visa extension if you possess a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.

Applicant Must Apply 6 Weeks in Advance of the Event he/she intends to attend.

• Invitation letter from host organization [In case of accompanying family, there should be a provision to provide Invitation letter specifically extended for the family and should carry their entire details]

• In Case of Extension– Please upload proof of Valid Pakistani Visa for which you are seeking Extension and Entry Stamp on your Passport in the supporting document type: Other
